Perot Theatre

Thanks to the generosity of native son H. Ross Perot and the citizens' desire to save this 1924 Italian Renaissance-style theatre, we house the sixth largest community based performing arts series in the nation. Post Office and Photographers Island

The Federal Building in the downtown area of Texarkana is the home of the most unique post office in America. It literally straddles State Line Avenue. With half of the building in Texas and half in Arkansas, the post office's official address is listed as Texarkana, U.S.A. 75501.
Regional Arts Center

The Regional Arts Center was originally built in 1909 as a United States district courthouse and features ornate plaster, a copper cage elevator and a grand hall with a 26-foot ceiling. The Center serves as the focal point for the visual arts and houses the only art museum in the region featuring national touring, juried and invitational exhibitions.

Located in the oldest brick building in Texarkana, the Historical Museum offers a wide range of exhibits. Visitors will enjoy the Victorian Parlor, an interactive musical exhibit dedicated to Scott Joplin, the "Father of Ragtime Musie; and replicas of a Doctor's office, an 1890's Farmstead model; and an exhibit that focuses on the Caddo Indians that lived in the area and includes Caddo pottery, tools, and other artifacts.
